1. Information we process
TortueNews may process basic social account information, authorization tokens, generated content, rendered images, video files, captions, hashtags, posting metadata, and publication results when the account owner connects a social platform account.
2. How we use information
Information is used to create content, build short vertical videos, publish authorized posts, refresh authorization tokens, prevent duplicate posting, and keep a record of publication history.
3. TikTok data
If the account owner connects TikTok, TortueNews may receive TikTok basic profile information and authorization tokens through TikTok Login Kit. These are used only to upload videos and captions that the account owner has authorized for publication through TikTok's Content Posting API.
4. Storage and security
Authorization tokens are stored in secure deployment secrets or server environment variables. They are not displayed on this website. Posting history may store platform post identifiers, captions, hashtags, and music file names for operational tracking.
5. Sharing
TortueNews sends content and posting requests to the social platforms selected by the account owner. It does not sell personal information or share authorization tokens with unrelated third parties.
6. Data deletion and disconnection
The account owner may disconnect platform access through the relevant platform settings or request removal of stored posting credentials and operational metadata.
7. Contact
For privacy inquiries, contact Tortue through the official TORTUE store.
